Week Two - Marketing to Gen X

A few examples of generational marketing for Gen X.  They were created for Spotify's 'Listen Like You Used To'  by London-based ad agency Who Wot Why.  I love a clever ad!

Memorial Day marketing musings

 Truthfully, I don't love the idea of Memorial Day marketing.   I have less of an issue with it being a time of celebration and relaxation as those that we remember on Memorial Day died for our freedom and right to eat hot dogs.   There's just something icky about it being synonymous with discounts and deals.  I say this, but I did look for car sales this morning.   However, I appreciate the subtle marketing.  Lifting a can of beer in thanks, buying and planting flowers to commemorate, or traveling to a loved one's homeland.   I found this ad well done and in the spirit of the holiday:  Ancestry Memorial 2024
